The New York Public Library, where the event is to be held, is a special resource in our community that offers a wide range of programs for adults, seniors and our young people.  We encourage you to bring a young person or two to this event to expose them to the best of our culture. They will experience the exciting seafaring adventures of The Incredible Voyage of Bill Pinkney in the comfortable setting of our neighborhood’s library.  The filmmaker Mr. Bill Pinkney created the film especially for our young people to inspire them to develop their unique genius and to live their dreams.

“Harlem Renaissance JAZZ, FILM & ART” continues the cultural and artistic legacy of Harlem - the cultural Mecca of the African/African-American world and, indeed, the rest of the world.
